Privacy Policy
Effective June 10, 2026
The short version
Driftwave is designed so that your personal data never leaves your phone. We do not require an account, we do not collect your name or email address, and your sessions run entirely on your device.
Data that stays on your device
Everything Driftwave knows about you is stored locally on your phone and is never transmitted to us:
- Your session history, streaks, and time spent drifting
- Your goal and session preferences
- Brightness, volume, and duration settings
- Your answers to the onboarding questions
Deleting the app deletes this data. We have no copy and no way to recover it.
Third-party services
Driftwave uses two third-party services that are standard for App Store apps. Each receives a randomly generated identifier so it can do its job — these identifiers are not tied to your identity, and we never share your name, email address, or any contact information (we don't have them to share).
- RevenueCat manages subscriptions and purchases. It receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipt data from Apple so your subscription works across reinstalls.
- AppsFlyer measures install attribution (which ad or link led to an install). It receives an anonymous identifier and standard device-level information.
Payments themselves are processed by Apple through your App Store account; Driftwave never sees your payment details.
What we don't do
- No accounts, profiles, or sign-in
- No collection of names, emails, or contacts
- No selling or sharing of personal data
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites
- No access to your microphone, camera, photos, or location
Children
Driftwave is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
